Vice President Business Development, Electronic Warfare / Range (EWR)
Lieutenant Colonel Kent Snyder, USA, Retired, is vice president business development for the Electronic Warfare and Range Instrumentation (EWR) business area of Sierra Nevada Corporation.
In his role with SNC, LTC Snyder works to advance the company’s industry-leading electronic warfare technology, which is fielded in support of military contingents worldwide. His fundamental knowledge of electronic countermeasure systems is rooted in his years as a U.S. Army Armor, Signal and Acquisition Officer as well as the Product Manager for ground-based tactical counter radio-controlled improvised explosive device electronic warfare (CREW) systems. Combined with his experience in information systems engineering and network interoperability and integration, LTC Snyder’s skillset is key in the development of SNC’s mounted, dismounted, fixed-site and airborne electronic warfare portfolio, which is among the most advanced in the DoD inventory.
Adding to his portfolio of accomplishments, Snyder also served at the White House Communications Agency where he worked to establish communication networks in direct support of the President and Vice President of the United States.
LTC Snyder earned a bachelor’s degree in management from Arizona State University and a Master of Science degree from California State University at Fullerton. He is also Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III certified in both Program Management and Information Technology.
